I have spent the past five years growing, learning and seeking counsel to be the best version of myself that I can be. This has taken perseverance, courage, and a lot of grace for myself to be able to do just that. One of the things I have enjoyed doing is writing by the sea. It’s calming for my soul. It helps me sort out the internal storms and waves I have crashing against my heart.

Within the three years I spent writing my book, the ocean became a safe space for me to come to the Lord with my heart. I also began painting and fell in love with the freedom of expression it gave me. Sometimes my paintings are illuminated with lighter notes but other times they reflect the darker tones of my season of life. Shadows symbolize my hurts, pain and worries impending on my healing heart and mind. Oher times light encapsulates the mood of the beautiful warm glows from a summer sunset.

Whatever season of ocean you’re in I can assure you, this painting workshop will give you your own freedom to express what is needed in your heart.
