The heart of Jamie Zenteno Ministries

I would like to extend my gratitude to all of my readers and followers. Your support during this journey to publisher my first book, The Sea Glass Soul, has meant the world to me. I am incredibly thankful for all of your prayers, kindest words and heartfelt support.

Jamie Zenteno Ministries is and will be more than just a book sales platform and blog postings.

I knew many years ago that my heart was for people and one of my gifts was encouragement. Through different seasons of my life, I’ve had opportunities to grow in different capacities through ministry and volunteer organizations. I truly believe it was to hone skills I would need for this next season I’m stepping into.

I have always loved to write and thus a platform for me to minister in a different sort of way was forged.

However, when the Lord gives you plans … HE GIVES YOU PLANS!! Given so, sometimes they are grander than what we have the capacity for. Or, so we think.

For the next few moments envision we are sitting on the sunrise side of your back porch with coffee or tea in hand. Engaged in conversation as old friends continually do with the sweet aroma of the morning fall dew adorning our senses.

As we conversate, you ask, “So, what exactly are the future plans of Jamie Zenteno Ministries?”

My vision is to encourage my audiences to connect to the Lord’s heart in the midst of their oceans. In order to do so, I’ll continue to write and post via my blog platform and share those short writings via social media and my website: www.jamiezenteno.com

In addition to the publication of my first book, my hope is to continue my author’s journey by penning more books in the future. One of which is already being in the works. I will also be available for speaking engagements to offer encouragement where ever the Lord may lead me.

Spring of 2025, I will be hosting a painting workshop called, “Paint Your Ocean.” The hope of the workshop is to help bring healing through the Lord’s word and painting. The seaside was my space to quiet my soul, to write my frustrations out, clear my head and just be still. I have found personally, that art is a great healing tool and allows me to tangibly see where I am at to help me process my emotions and seasons of life.

Fall of 2025, a Sea Glass Soul Weekend will be hosted on Galveston Island. This will be a weekend where women a small group of women will explore each chapter with me in a bible study type setting. There will be individual times set aside for reflection, a guest speaker, times to create and stroll along the beach. My hope is for women to walk away from this weekend refreshed, healed and refined.

Within the next two years I’ll be launching a weekend hosted specifically for couples who have lost their sweet angel from miscarriage. This is something that is very near and dear to my heart, as this mama as lost a few of her own. The journey to navigate such a loss is a long one, but my hope is to offer tools for couples to grieve and heal together. This weekend will be 100% covered as far as lodging, meals and a few other things. It will also include a complimentary grief therapy session for the couple to help offer tools for their healing journey. Jamie Zenteno Ministries will work with local churches to collect applications from couples who would be candidates to attend.

As this ministry grows, as will its vision and outreach. So to start, I believe these steps forward will be the foundation of things to come. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Have a wonderful rest of your week,

-Jamie
