Unexpected Favor

I have a certain test that was scheduled about a month ago coming up very soon. I had asked what the fee was and they said it was covered.
The day before the test, I received a message saying please click this link to pay the estimated amount of $2500.00. I was a bit confused, so I called and explained I was told the test was covered. They said no ma’am but you can call billing to clarify the details. I did. They said yes ma’am but if you talk to the finance department you can talk over payment details with them. I was frustrated, slightly annoyed but more than anything it just was what it was.
I was either going to figure out a way to come up with the funds in about 24 hours or I thought I will just have to cancel.
As a parent sometimes other things have to come first. Meaning, kid expenses, horses, keeping the lights on and food on the table. It’s certainly not ideal by any means but I came to terms with it and decided if I am supposed to get this done God will have to help me figure this out somehow.
Well, He did!!
Please note that I’m not saying any of this to gloat but to say God really is a good God!!
The finance department called me back and said I have some good news. I thought at best – I’ll have to put something down and pay out the rest over a certain amount of time.
She said listen; I’ve been in your exact shoes before too. Single income/one parent home with kids and the weight of responsibility on all on momma. She went on to say, “It’s all covered.” I asked in disbelief, “How do I need to pay it back? She said you don’t. Oh, and if you need to be hospitalized for any reason after the tests - then you’re covered 100% for that too.”
God took care of my need before I even knew I was going to have one!! I pray the test comes back fine and it’s just a peace of mind ordeal but I am very thankful for this unexpected blessing I didn’t know I needed!!
The Lord is so incredibly faithful.
So, I encourage you for whatever season you are in, please please please don’t give up!! The Lord knows what you need I promise you!!
