We live by faith

2 Corinthians 5:7. “We live by faith, not by sight.”

I posted a video on my Facebook page week before last about waiting for your seeds to sprout. At that moment we had been waiting two weeks for seeds to rise from the earth in which they were planted.

Personally, I have been in a season of waiting for things to sprout myself. The key thing that was being confirmed to me more than once, from more than one person was to be consistent.

I’m trying. It’s hard. It sucks!!

I have also found, sometimes your tears are going to be the very thing that waters the seeds you plant. You still may not be the one who harvests the fruit, but your consistency is the key to it growing.

Over this past weekend I took a moment to tend our fall vegetable and much to my delight the bed which I thought was barren with failed seeds has begun to sprout.

The work wasn’t for nothing! It just needed a little extra time and the external elements to be just right for growth.

This situation mirrored my heart and circumstances that surround it. It gives me much hope.

Don’t lose hope mom and dad.

Though the seeds might be scattered your tears are watering your prayers, have faith. Hold tight, don’t give up hope and keeping pressing forward. Even if this means from a distance for a season or two.

As always, please send over a message if you need prayer for anything. I pray you each have a good, break though kind of week surrounded by peace.

Love Always,

Jamie
